The Art Island of Naoshima, Japan

The pumpkin is what drew people to the remote Naoshima Island. The pumpkin - yellow, gigantic, with black spots (edited here for more colors). The island features permanent exhibitions of site-specific artworks and the popular Benesse House designed by renowned architect Tadao Ando.
